Dr. Arora is a cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist at Northwestern Memorial. A member of the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation, Dr. Arora has a special interest in catheter ablation, electrophysiology and transvenous pacemakers.
Dr. Arora is an assistant professor at the Feinberg School of Medicine. His current research initiatives include a study of the role of the pulmonary veins in the genesis and maintenance of atrial fibrillation. He holds a 5-year grant from the National Institutes of Health to study the role of stretch in focal atrial fibrillation, through the Mentored Clinical Scientist Award program.
Dr. Arora was awarded the Kenneth M. Rosen Fellowship in Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology by the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology in 2000. He is board certified in cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. Dr. Arora is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.
A graduate of Delhi University in India, Dr. Arora completed his internship at New York Hospital Medical Center in Queens, N.Y. He conducted his residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital and fellowships at Albert Einstein College of Medicine Montefiore Medical Center and Indiana University Medical Center.
